Data Scientist

What will you do?

• Develop and implement data models to extract actionable insights from large volumes of sensor data.

• Collaborate with engineers and domain experts inside and outside the organization to identify key process parameters and develop predictive models for process optimization.
• Analyze time-series data to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact operational efficiency in the process industries.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to ensure clean, structured, and accessible data for real-time analysis.
• Apply machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to build predictive maintenance models and anomaly detection systems.
• Provide data-driven insights to the team for product improvements.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders through visualizations, reports, and presentations.

Requirements:

• Residency in or near Eindhoven.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a Data Science position. Experience within a high-tech or process industry is a plus.
• Proficient in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript, R, SAS, or SQL.
• Familiar with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Kafka, etc.
• Familiar with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Familiar with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

About Senergetics

Established in March 2022 by Frank Jacobs and Anitha, Senergetics is on a mission to revolutionize industrial practices, prioritizing asset health management for safety, sustainability, and efficiency. Inspired by sensing technology, we're tackling energy spillage and corrosion under insulation (CUI) in the process industry.
