Data Scientist Intern

What will you do?

As a Data Science Intern, you will support the team in developing and applying data-driven solutions to improve our processes and products. You will:

• Assist in developing and implementing data models to extract actionable insights from large volumes of sensor data.

• Collaborate with team members to identify key process parameters and support the development of predictive models for process optimization.

• Analyze time-series data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact operational efficiency.

• Help design and maintain data pipelines to ensure clean and structured data for analysis.

• Apply and experiment with machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to support predictive maintenance and anomaly detection projects.

• Contribute to data visualization, reporting, and presentation of findings to stakeholders.

• Learn from experienced data scientists and engineers while gaining hands-on experience in real-world data analysis and modeling.

Requirements:

• Currently residing in or near Eindhoven.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (recent graduates or students are welcome).

• Practical experience with data science through coursework, personal projects, or prior internships.

• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; familiarity with R is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Kafka, and Dagster.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.

• Exposure to ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

• Ability to communicate data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
